The following data includes the average of the students in 1st-8th grade at Inwood Christian School. The Iowa Percentile Rank (IPR) is the percent of students in Iowa with a lower score on the test, total, or composite. The National Percentile Rank (NPR) is the percent of students in the Nation with a lower score on the test, total, or composite.

Basic Skills Grade Equivalency Growth

Each year Inwood Christian School administers the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills to all students in first through eighth grade. The attached charts show the growth of each individual class from the previous year. Grade level equivalents are read as follows: a student at 2.5 would have been in 2nd grade for 5 months.

The Comprehensive School Improvement long-range goals for students at Inwood Christian school are for each student to be proficient in reading compression, math, and science. A student is proficient when he/she scores at or above the 41st percentile using national norms on the ITBS.  Biennium averages for 4th and 8th grade are used to monitor this goal.
