"Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants."

Deuteronomy 32:2

Nov. 19-30

PLEASE NOTE THIS UPDATE IS FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS!

For the past month and as part of our devotions, the students have been writing a list of things they are thankful for on their own pumpkin. The pumpkins may go home next week. If you are in town and want to stop for your child's pumpkin, please feel free to do so. Otherwise they will be sent home with them on the bus.

The third and fourth grade students will be working with the first and second graders to do our special unit on Thanksgiving. Each of you should have received a paper requesting your child to bring something on Monday for our special activities. If you have not received this, please check with your child.

There will be no memory work for the week of Thanksgiving. For the following week of November 26th - 30th, the students will be memorizing the Sons of Jacob. We will have a Social Studies Test on that Tuesday, November 27th.

There will be no Spelling Test or Skip Counting for next week. The following week and going forward, will be the 2s through 12s.

The 3rd graders have moved on to division.  If they know their multiplication facts, division will be much easier! Please keep practicing!
