In February, Jason, Ruth, and Levi Wiersma went to Haiti on a serve project. The money that was collected this school year for the Christmas project was used to purchase various different items. These items were brought to Haiti and given to the Haitians. Bibles in Creole were purchased and given to some of the people. Some of the pastors do not even have an entire Bible in their language to preach from. On March 6, Jason and Ruth shared pictures and stories from their trip to Haiti. Each student was given a sea shell that was collected in the Caribbean Sea.
