HANK & FRIENDS
HANK & Friends, a program of the Community Education Department at Hegg Memorial Health Center, visited ICS on April 15 and presented a program to the K-4 students promoting healthy living by eating nutritious foods and exercising. This presentation included a slideshow presentation, games, physical activity, other health-minded activities and exercises, and HANK—the healthy lifestyle mascot cow. HANK’s name stands for Healthy And Nutritious Kids. Each of the students was presented a red t-shirt to remind them to eat healthy and to exercise.
