"Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants."
What should we say - Welcome fall? Welcome Winter? With the weather being so unpredictable, please check with your child to confirm they have appropriate outdoor wear for chilly days!
Next week we will have our first Social Studies Test. These tests are different than the type we normally take. I will be helping the students prepare for this so there will be very little study needed at home. However, we do have a Bible Test on Thursday covering all the judges we studied. A study paper with all the people and what they are known for will be sent home on Monday. You may keep this at home as I will provide one for them to have at school as well. The regular review will come home on Tuesday or Wednesday, the Bible Test is on Thursday. Our Spelling Test will be on Friday. The Skip Counting Test will be to write all the patterns for 2s through 8s. Our memory verse will be to say Psalm 135:13-18.
Third Grade parents!!!! We are beginning our Math unit on MULTIPLICATION! We will be making flash cards to use both at home and at school. This week we will focus on the 2s - 5s. The Skip-Counting we have done so far will help a great deal, but PLEASE practice the flash cards as well and be sure to send them back to school each day!
Please keep practicing your Skip-Counting at home. Quick recall and attention to
the patterns are very important for Math success!

Please feel free to contact me at with any questions you may have through email or calling. I am usually at school around 7 a.m. or right shortly after. Again, I look forward to working with you and your child to help them grow academically and spiritually!
