Welcome to SonLight Preschool
Hello & Welcome! I am so excited about being your child's preschool teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. I live in Doon, Iowa and am married Derrick Klarenbeek. Grayson, our son, joined us November 6 last year, and we are so in love with him! We are expecting our second child the end of May. In May 2020, I graduated from Dordt University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Early Childhood, Reading, and Coaching. This is my 5th year teaching at ICS, and I am so excited to be back! I am looking forward to having a wonderful year!

Library - Library books are due every Wednesday! We go to the Library on Thursdays.
Engagement - Please talk to your child about school. Ask them questions such as: What was your favorite song you sang today? What did you have for snack? What book did you read as a class today? What did you learn in Bible today?
Reading - Please read with your child every day! Reading is so important at this age!
Weather - If Inwood Christian School has a late start, there will be NO morning preschool. If Inwood Christian School has an early out, there will be no afternoon preschool.
Breakfast is from 8:00am to 8:15am
